Hi all, it's Rita/wanderlight! I, ah, never got along with Tumblr, but what with Tumblr self-destructing, is anyone I know flocking back to Dreamwidth? I never actually used this account, but I miss having a fannish home & am considering giving this "having a journal" thing a go again. ♥

Yeah, you're one of the few who've been here the whole time! Every once in a while I'd pop in and (silently) read a bunch of your entries, just to keep up on your life. ♥

Are folks really posting more? I think it's too much to hope for that fandom will migrate back to old-school journalling -- most of my old friends are on Twitter now -- but I'm thinking of returning to Dreamwidth for real this time and finding a new community. I miss the "old internet"!

Re: posting more, I've been seeing more frequent activity from more folks each time I've popped in lately, including some who haven't maintained a habit of posting semi-regularly, or at all, for a good long time (i.e., months/years?). I'm not counting DW communities as I don't follow many of them. Partly I'm out of the habit after leaving LJ, and also I can only keep track of so much internet/fandom social life, given rl demands. I miss the old internet too!
